September 17th was a historic day for Element5 as we hosted the Grand Opening of our mass timber plant expansion. Over 250 guests from Europe, the U.S. and Canada attended the event that included tours of the new facility and a sit-down lunch.
The expansion more than doubles the size of our St. Thomas facility from 130,000 square feet to over 350,000 square feet (400,000 square feet including the canopy space).
The expansion also doubles our production capacity from 50,000 cubic meters annually to 100,000 cubic meters annually of cross-laminated timber (CLT) and glued-laminated timber (Glulam) products.
