about the project:
Palmier is a contemporary structure with an exposed wood atmosphere, huge windows, a flat roof and a southern California vibe. It is home to a new trendy café, bar and dinette in the heart of Chelsea, QC. The owner had a strong vision for the design and originally planned to renovate the existing building, but plans evolved for a new structure that utilizes Cross Laminated Timber and Passive House technology. The result is an energy efficient building that allows light to flood in through large south and west facing windows.
